High ‘steaks’ at Philadelphia restaurant Sunday
The top chefs in Philadelphia are coming together, but it’s not for the typical culinary challenge.
Today, many of the city’s chefs will be on hand for a block party on Sansom Street for the Square 1682’s Cheesesteak Challenge: High Steaks Part 2.
The competition is held in celebration of Square 1682’s second anniversary.
Ticket holders will get to determine the second annual “People’s Choice” award and be entered in a raffle to receive dinner at one of the participating restaurants.
Square 1682 says all of the proceeds will benefit the Philadelphia Academies, a charity dedicated to expanding life and economic options for Philadelphia Public School students through career focused programming.
