High school baseball coach charged with corrupting minors

Charges have been filed against a baseball coach from Ss. Neumman Goretti High School in South Philadelphia.

Louis Spadaccini, 37, is charged with corruption of minors, luring a child into a motor vehicle, inducing minors into buying liquor, interference with custody of children, simple assault and other crimes, the Daily News reports.

Spadaccini was arrested Monday and placed on administrative leave by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Lizz Fiedler, at an archdiocese press conference, reports the diocese says all criminal background checks and child abuse clearances on Spadaccini were in place.
