Helping children of migrant workers in Delaware

About 100 students of migrant workers are taking part in day or night classes designed to help them improve reading and math scores and teach school readiness.

The Delaware Migrant Education Program runs in two separate six-week sessions during the summer. The students come from Georgia, Florida, Texas and other states with their parents who help work Delaware’s agricultural season.
