Health care rally
This afternoon, a government transparency advocacy group GrassRoots4Change will hold a rally at press conference at Congressman John Runyan’s office in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
New Speaker of the House John Boehner is expected today to vote to repeal the health care reform bill. GrassRoots4Change is lobbying for the Affordable Care Act, which would extend coverage to seniors, children and college graduates.
A release from GrassRoots4Change says the group does not expect the Senate to pass the repeal legislation, but wants to make sure public support for health care reform remains strong as Congress decides how to move forward.
