Headhouse Farmers Market opens Sunday
It’s farmers market season. Two of Philadelphia’s Food Trust markets are already open, but Headhouse Farmers Market is the first seasonal market to open this year. The official start time is 10 a.m. Sunday.
The 5-year-old market will welcome 36 vendors this season, including newcomers like Root Mass Farm, Paradocx Vineyards and Penns Woods Winery.
Headhouse, at Second and Lombard streets, is one of more than two dozen Food Trust farmers markets.
Editor’s note: The opening day of the market has been corrected to Sunday. We regret the error.
