Haverford School Board approves purchase of 122 laptops

High school Faculty in Haverford will soon enjoy the benefits of more than 100 new laptops, after the school board approved the purchase this week.

According to the Daily Times, the laptops are part of a $127,842 three-year lease and purchase agreement with TD Equipment Finance.  The new laptops would be used by Haverford High School teachers.

Docking stations will also be purchased as well, along with network virtualization hardware and software under another purchase agreement, according to the story.

A school official tells the Daily Times the district’s teachers aren’t often able to stay in one classroom at a time.  The new laptops will help to make the teachers more mobile.
