Campaign season in Pa.: Romney and Gov. Corbett, Rendell holding separate rallies

Mitt Romney has returned to Pennsylvania, a state no Republican presidential candidate has won since 1988, to visit three communities while at the same time, former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell plans to hold a rally of his own.

Romney is scheduled to visit a Quakertown Wawa shortly after Rendell is scheduled to hold a rally at the same location. Rendell is expected to already be at the Wawa with other Democrats to make a case against Romney.

The Associated Press reports Romney is also scheduled to visit the historic Cornwall Iron Furnace, located 25 miles east of Harrisburg Saturday afternoon alongside Gov. Tom Corbett.

The Republican presidential candidate was scheduled to visit Weatherly Casting & Machine Co. in Carbon County earlier Saturday morning.
