Gosnell expected to tell judge if he’s hired a lawyer

Kermit Gosnell is due back in court today following a hearing last week in which he requested and was denied a public defender.

Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams was in court yesterday to tell the judge what his office found during a raid of Gosnell’s West Philadelphia abortion clinic.

Gosnell has been charged with eight counts of murder for killing viable infants and one mother. He’s expected today to tell the judge whether he’s hired his own attorney.
