If you’re planning on heading into the great outdoors this weekend and want to stay dry, Sunday is the pick.

Rain will arrive late tonight, becoming heavy at times by tomorrow morning as a low pressure system moves through the region, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters say that the heaviest rain is likely during the morning hours. Some flooding of poor drainage areas and smaller waterways is possible.

Up to an inch of rain is in the forecast by the time rain tapers off tomorrow night.
