Good cop

The owner of a Philadelphia limo company has been charged with trying to bribe a police officer.

Bassam Salaheldein of Millenium Limousine and his friend Khaleel Eid tried to persuade the office to erase criminal and parking violations, and also asked his assistance in getting a fraudulent gun permit, the AP reports.

We think the bigger news here is that a Philadelphia police officer isn’t being charged, as 17 of his colleagues have violated the law this year.
