Gloucester Township cop faces dismissal, drug charges after being arrested in uniform

    The Gloucester Township police officer arrested while on duty this week faces multiple drug charges and dismissal.

    Thomas Eden Jr. is charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of an imitation controlled substance, possession of a weapon during a drug offense and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute after he attempted to purchase Oxycodone from a confidential informant.

    According to the Gloucester County Times, Eden allegedly has pills in his possession when he was arrested, and was wearing his uniform and driving his police cruiser.

    He’s been suspended with intent to dismiss.
