Santa doesn’t take the spirit of giving lightly. This afternoon, he and Wachovia will present $50,000 to five local charitable organizations.
Philabundance, Greater Works Food Pantry of Bensalem, Chester County Food Bank, Manna on Main of Lansdale and Greater Philadelphia Coalition Against Hunger will each receive $10,000 from the big guy (whom we imagine had some help from Wachovia).
The formal presentation will be held at Philabundance’s South Philly facility, and the money will help those in need have a brighter holiday.
