Getting the sign

In case you haven’t noticed, quite a few Philadelphians are pretty excited that Cliff Lee is back. But in case you somehow have missed that little tidbit, there will be a giant reminder that very few will be able to miss.

As reported in the Inquirer, drivers heading south on I-95 will be met with a billboard featuring a mushy love note to the lefthander. According to the article, the note is the creation of the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corp., a private nonprofit funded by the City of Philadelphia, the state, and Pew Charitable Trusts.

Heartfelt sentiments are not new to the company. The agency is responsible for the “With Love, Philadelphia XOXO” campaign.
