Reward offered for information on Germantown murder suspect

Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Anthony Baker, 26, of the 6300 block of Algard Street. Baker is wanted in connection to a homicide in Germantown last week.

Police say officers from the 39th District arrived at the intersection of Marion and Hansberry streets around 1:30 a.m. last Thursday to find David McClenic, 23, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation revealed that McClenic was involved in a physical altercation with several males before being found by police.

The City of Philadelphia is offering up to a $20,000 reward for Baker’s arrest. He is 5’5″ and 130 pounds.
