Don’t let the thought of getting dirty stop you from helping the community. This Saturday, head to the Awbury Arboretum for the “Fall Tree Planting with TTF” from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Attendees will meet at 1 Awbury Road and travel to various sites in Germantown. They will help plant trees with the Tookany/Tacony Frankford Watershed Partnership Inc. as well as speak with homeowners about the benefits of having freshly planted trees.
Attendees are encouraged to wear weather-appropriate clothing including closed shoes because they will plant rain or shine. Tools and snacks will be provided.
