Gas main breaks leads to explosion in Tacony
Three PGW workers and a firefighter have sustained injuries as crews battle a three-alarm fire in Tacony. The fire is the result of an explosion caused by a 12-inch gas main break.
Fox29 reports crews arrived on the 6900-block of Torresdale Avenue around 7:30 p.m. after the main burst. The explosion occurred about an hour later.
