Garnet Valley School District superintendent finalist chosen

    The current assistant superintendent for the West Chester Area School District is on track to become the head of the Garnet Valley School District in Delaware County.

    Dr. Marc Bertrando has been named as the finalist in the district’s search, according to the Delaware County Times, and a vote is scheduled for next week.A search began in June when Dr. Michael Christian left Garnet Valley for the Owen J. Roberts School District chief position. Bertrando was one of 27 applicants and 12 interviewees for the position.
