Funding for energy efficiency projects announced
Governor Markell and DNREC Secretary Colin O’Mara will announce funding for
energy efficiency projects in 11 municipalities in Kent County today in Camden. The projects include HVAC upgrades, insulation, replacement windows and solar power installations. Some towns will also be able to use the money to offer financial incentives for residents to make energy efficiency upgrades to their homes. The money comes from the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program.
