World Dance Day returns to Philadelphia for the third year, setting up in Northern Liberties with an afternoon of complimentary events and performances.

The Piazza at Schmidts will play host to the annual event’s global celebration of dance. World Dance Day was founded in 1982, and is organized locally by 954 Dance Movement Collective.

According to uwishunu.com, an afternoon of events will kick off on Sunday, April 29, at 12 p.m., with an hour of performances by local dancers. There will also be an hour of complimentary, 20-minute classes before ending the afternoon with more performances.
