Foursquare and GPTMC get artsy with ‘Check In to a Masterpiece’

Foursquare and the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation have partnered up on a new campaign allowing users of the popular app to ‘check-in” at artwork around the city.

There are 12 pieces around the city with sites at the Barnes, the Philadelphia Museum of Art and at the Rodin. Technically Philly has the full list here.

For those that aren’t familiar, Foursquare users ‘check-in’ to locations all around the city, gaining points and a locale-based mayoral status.

GPTMC is upping the stakes with a ‘Check In to a Masterpiece’ contest where winners can score a hotel stay, dinner, and museum admissions. Check out all the details here.
