Former Congressman John Adler recovering from heart surgery
Former Congressman John Adler is recovering in the hospital from emergency surgery. The former New Jersey representative had heart surgery after contracting staph bacterial endocarditis, NJ.com reports.
Adler and his family have asked for privacy during his recuperation. The 51-year-old served one House term before being defeated by Congressman John Runyan, R-3rd. He then joined international law firm Greenberg Traurig.
