Food Truck Wars: Philly vs New Jersey in the Meadowlands
The food truck phenomenon is still milking its moment and the Jerseyfest Food Truck Mashup takes the trend to a competitive level by pitting New Jersey victualers against those from Philadelphia.
Food truck enthusiasts up for a road trip to the Meadowlands Racetrack can dine and vote for their favorite eats on Saturday, June 4 from 5-11 p.m.
The event takes place on the venue’s Backyard and East Apron.
New Jersey will be represented by 15 food trucks, including El Lechon De Negron, Waffle De Lys and Sanducci’s Wood Fired Pizza.
There will be 11 food trucks hailing from Philly, including The Cow and the Curd, Chick ‘N Cone and Pompier Pierogi Flats.
A beer garden lounge will serve up craft brews and cocktails to wash it all down, while live music plays all evening.
An early access ticket ($30) grants holders entry at 3:30 p.m. and includes drink specials, exclusive entrance to the beer garden, $5 in “mashup cash” and a betting voucher.
General admission is just $5 (plus $1 convince fee). To vote costs $2 for a pre-registered betting voucher.
Kids under 5 years get in for free.
Sorry, no pets are allowed.
