Food theft

    A former La Salle University employee pleaded guilty today to theft, forgery and other offense, which he committed over the course of 20 years.

    The District Attorney’s office reports Stephen Greb, former head of the university’s food services, is accused of stealing as much as $5 million over 20 years by creating fake food vendor accounts and payments.

    Greb is out on bail pending his Feb. 22 sentencing hearing where he faces 14 to 28 years and $60,000 in fines.
