Food Network features Delaware restaurant tonight

The Food Network’s Restaurant Impossible returns to Delaware to makeover Scrimmages on Route 202.

According to the Food Network website, the restaurant struggles with a rift among four partners who run the place.  As part of the show’s premise, celebrity chef Robert Irvine has two days and $10,000 to remake what the website calls “a sub-par restaurant” and repair relationships among the partners.

It’s not the first time the show has featured a Delaware restaurant.  In February, the show aired an episode featuring Rascal’s on Route 13 in New Castle.  That episode featured piles of trash, a filthy kitchen, and other problems.  Rascal’s has since changed its name to Beach Bum BBQ & Crabs.
