Flood watch issued for Philadelphia area

If you thought September would bring the end of wild weather in Philadelphia, think again.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Philadelphia and all surrounding counties. The watch spreads from North Jersey to Calvert County, Maryland.

According to the NWS forecast, the potential flooding in areas affected by Hurricane Irene last week is particularly dangerous and should be monitored closely. The forecast calls for two to four inches of rain from Monday to Wednesday morning, when the watch expires.
