Flood warning in effect for parts of South Jersey

This is the last thing South Jersey needs. A flood warning has been issued for parts of the region until 6 p.m. and a flood advisory is in effect until 12:45 p.m.

Parts of Cumberland, Camden, Gloucester, Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic and Burlington counties are part of the advisory, while urban areas and small streams in Southeastern Salem County, Northeastern Cumberland County and Atlantic County are under the warning.

Some of these counties are already waiting on word from the state about whether they can apply for federal assistance for the damage sustained during floods earlier this week.
