Flash flood warning in effect for central Pa. through this evening

The National Weather service issued earlier today a flash flood watch for parts of central Pennsylvania, including Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, Schuylkill and York counties.

Many streams are still high from prior rainfall, and heavy rain this weekend may lead to renewed rises in water level.

    The warning lasts through midnight.
