Fitzpatrick, Boockvar debate Thursday at Bucks County Community College
Bucks County Community College will host the second of three debates between Republican Mike Fitzpatrick and Democrat Kathy Boockvar on Thursday at the Lower Bucks Campus. The debate begins at 11 a.m.
Boockvar is challenging Fitzpatrick for the 8th District seat in the U.S. House. The two have squabbled over the degree to which Boockvar is tied to the defense team of convicted cop killer Mumia Abu-Jamal, a situation which WHYY’s Dave Davies has been covering.
A third debate is scheduled for Friday at 8 a.m. at The Water Wheel Restaurant in Doylestown.
The 8th District includes Bucks County, parts of Montgomery County and Northeast Philadelphia.
