Finally sold, former Please Touch Museum will be an art gallery

It’s been years since the Please Touch Museum left Center City for the massive Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park.

But the old site at 200-212 N. 21st. Street has just sold. The Philadelphia Business Journal reports Isen Trust bought the property and has plans to use it as an art gallery and store. Touching those exhibits will probably be discouraged.

No word on whether Isen paid the original $8.5 million asking price.
