Fighting back: Police say homeowner grabs gun, shoots at intruders

    Police say a homeowner in Montgomery County surprised two intruders when he grabbed a gun and shot at them as they were inside of his home early this morning.

    WPVI-TV reports the incident happened around 1:20 a.m. this morning on the 700 block of Danbury Drive in Whitpain Township, Montgomery County.

    According to WPVI-TV, police say the two intruders startled the homeowner from his sleep. Police say the homeowner then spotted the men, grabbed his gun and shot at them.

    The men got away on foot.
