Fast-moving fire displaces eight in Haverford Township

    A fire destroyed a home in Haverford Township overnight, leaving eight people homeless.

    WPVI-TV reports the fire sparked around 4:30 a.m. this morning on the 700 block of Haverford Avenue.

    Fire crews battled the fire for an hour before getting it under control.

    WPVI-TV says the two families who occupied the home managed to escape without any injuries.
