Farrakhan’s impassioned speech at Million Man March event

This weekend was the 16th anniversary of the Million Man March, and brought minister Louis Farrakhan to Philadelphia.

And the Nation of Islam leader didn’t beat around the bush during his speech.

NewsWorks partner Philadelphia Weekly has a recap of Sunday’s event, at which Farrakhan called on blacks to localize and rebuild the communities in the way Asian immigrants have done in Chinatowns around the nation.

“You’re already separated but you’re not profiting,” Farrakhan told his audience of how to get the most out of the way they’re already living. You can read the full summary of Farrakhan’s speech here.
