Rocky Mountain National Park officials say a climber who died after falling about 30 feet was a Colorado State University student from New Jersey.

The park identified him Friday as 22-year-old Corey Stewart, of Newton. A helicopter recovered his body Friday.

Park officials say a caller told rangers around 12:30 p.m. Thursday that a man had fallen 30 feet while climbing Batman Pinnacle on Lumpy Ridge. People on scene started CPR, but he died of his injuries. Details weren’t available.
