Expert says misleading ads on the way in presidential season

    The presidential election campaign season will really ramp up with ads strategically set to run during the summer olympics. A recent study from Penn’s Annenberg Center for Communications cautions consumers to bewary of the “truthiness” of those messages. Kathleen Hall Jamieson, of Annenberg, says PACS that don’t support a single candidate frequently use deceptive advertising because no one person is accountable for the accuracy of the ads.
