Expensive statues stolen from Williamhurst yard

Police in New Castle County are look for four statues stolen from a yard in Wilmington’s Williamhurst community.

Worth $10,000 each, the statues went missing over the weekend, WHYY’s Mark Fowser reports.

And stealing them must have not been a small feat. Each of the black stone statues, imported from Zimbabwe, are two to three feet tall and weight about 150 lbs.
