Ex-Pa. law library head pleads in misuse of funds

The former head of the Montgomery County Courthouse law library in suburban Philadelphia has pleaded guilty to misuse of funds.

Sixty-two-year-old Bruce Piscadlo of Howell, New Jersey entered an open plea Wednesday to a felony theft charge and a misdemeanor count of misapplication of entrusted property.

Other charges including theft by deception, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy are to be dismissed at sentencing.

Prosecutors said Piscadlo used thousands of dollars in taxpayer money to buy dozens of items including computers, laptops and printers.
