Emotional moment in courtroom as victim hugs suspect in wrong-way DUI crash

It was a very emotional moment in a Montgomery County courtroom when the victim of a wrong-way DUI crash along the Schuylkill Expressway hugged the suspect who hit him.

According to the Daily Times, the man who was seriously injured in the March crash hugged the woman involved in the crash as he faced her in court Friday, telling her she had forgiveness from him.

According to the story, the emotional move in court helped the judge to decide how to punish the suspect.

Judge William Furber sentenced her to a mandatory term of 72 hours in jail for the DUI conviction, according to the report.
