Elderly woman raped, robbed in her Germantown apartment

The Philadelphia Police are looking for the man who allegedly raped and robbed a 78-year-old woman in her Germantown apartment late on Friday night.

Her attacker was described as a light-skinned, clean-shaven black man in his mid to late 20s, wearing tan shorts and a short-sleeve dress shirt, reports Philly.com. He stood about 5 feet 7 inches and weighed about 150 pounds.

He entered the victim’s Queen Lane home at around 11 p.m. through an unlocked door, then allegedly stole $200 and a money order, after repeatedly raping her, reports NBC10.

Despite being a sexual assault victim, the woman insisted on showing her face during an interview with Rosemary Connors on NBC10.
