Plans Presented for Ridge Ave. Development June 19

    The East Falls Community Council’s Committee on Zoning and Land Use will meet at 7 pm Wednesday, June 19 in the Auditorium of Downs Hall on the Philadelphia University campus to consider the one zoning variance application submitted to it for this meeting. The application was originated by Onion Flats, LLC to develop the property at 4300 Ridge Ave. for residential and commercial use.

    The current building and parking lot are owned by the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority. The property formerly was a nightclub and catering hall facility.According to the prospective developer, variances are likely to be requested for height, parking and lot coverage. All members of the community are invited to participate in the meeting, during which representatives of the prospective developer will present their plans for the property. Copies of the application submitted to the Zoning and Land Use Committee are available on the EFCC website, www.eastfallscommunity.org.
