Education Foundation give grants to Lower Merion

    Two grants totaling $7,500 have been given to two Lower Merion educational facilities.

     

    A $2,500 grant to the Welsh Valley Middle School will support a mosaic installation and help students create their own. A $5,000 grant will provide computer equipment to middle school students working at the Bethel Academy tutoring program.

    The funds from from the Education Fund of Lower Merion, the Main Line Times reports. To date, the foundation has given more than $100,000 to the school district.
