East Falls Farmer’s Market Opens May 25

    The East Falls Farmer’s Market opens for 2013 on Saturday, May 25, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the parking Lot under the Twin Bridges, 4100 Ridge Avenue between Ridge Avenue and Kelly Drive under the Route 1 ramps.

    Our farmer is McCann’s Farm (http://www.themccannsfarm.com/). Their crop list includes: vegetables such as asparagus, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, kale, lettuce, peas, pumpkins, squash, tomatoes, and Fruit, such as apples, pears, blueberries, cantaloupe, cherries, peaches, plums, strawberries, and watermelon. They also have some herbs, seedlings, Fruitwood Orchards honey, apple cider, and fruit butters.New this year: we want artisan craft vendors to join our market.
