Early morning fire destroys Toms River house

    No injuries were reported after a blaze destroyed a Toms River house early this morning, authorities said. 

    Police and fire units responded to a dwelling at 2311 3rd Avenue shortly before 3:00 a.m., according to Ralph Stocco, Toms River Police Department spokesman.

    The house was fully engulfed in flames upon arrival, and additional fire and EMS units were summoned to the scene, Stocco said. 

    The blaze was brought under control at 3:38 a.m.
