E-Z Pass spanning the eastern seaboard, a possibility

If the organization that oversees E-Z Pass gets their way, stopping for tolls on I-95 will be nothing but a memory.

According to The Press of Atlantic City, E-Z Pass’ The Interagency Group is working with southern states along the I-95 corridor. Their efforts would help each state to transition their equipment in order to accept E-Z Pass as a form of toll payment, from Maine to Florida.

E-Z Pass is currently in use in 14 states and has over 22 million devices in circulation.
