Dutch Festival brings block party to Reading Terminal Market

Pennsylvania Dutch and block parties don’t really go together, but in Philly we love both, so why not join them?

It’s exactly what Reading Terminal Market is doing today. It’s the last day of the Pennsylvania Dutch Festival, and RTM is taking things outdoors with a block party-like fair on Arch Street.

The day-long event includes food, Amish buggy rides, horse-drawn wagon rides, a petting zoo and live bluegrass music. And did we mention food? Sticky buns, shoofly pie, donuts, jams, jellies, soft pretzels, barbecue chicken and ribs, scrapple, sausage and more.

Plus, parking is only $4 at 12th and Filbert. That’s an event in and of itself.
