Drug seizure, explosion overnight in Del.

In two unrelated incidents, Delaware officials handled an explosion, and a drug seizure, yesterday.

At about 8:30 p.m. an explosion blew out a wall at a plastics plant in Wilmington. Fire officials say the building was empty at the time, but according to ABC6, the “factory is a total loss.” The incident is under investigation.

Acting on an FBI tip, Delaware police converged on a Wilmington home around 10 p.m. on Friday. According to ABC6, the raid turned up 7,400 bags of heroine, an undisclosed amount of cash and a loaded handgun.
