Dover and Delaware prepare for 2015 Firefly Music Festival

    With an expected 90,000 attendees, DelDOT announces road closures and travel information for festival goers.

    Firefly Music Festival takes place in Dover, Delaware at The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway from Thursday, June 18 through Sunday, June 21.

    DelDOT, the City of Dover Police and Delaware State Police are planning to close Leipsic Road and Persimmon Tree Road, in the vicinity of Dover International Speedway, beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 19 through Sunday evening, June 21.

    Premier tent/RV attendees planning to camp for the festival can check in at Dover International Speedway Lot 1 beginning on Wednesday, June 17th at noon. Check in for all other camping pass holders starts on Thursday, June 18th at 6am.

    Campers should have their “will call” passes prior to check in. Passes can be picked up at Delaware Technical Community College in North Dover.

    Daily parking is free and will be available on speedway parking lots through the main entrance.
