Dog of the Week: Shake Shake

Hi my name is Shake Shake!

I ended up at ACCT because my family could no longer care for me. I am about 1 to 2 years old and am a terrier mix. I’m not one of those “jumpy” dogs, so I would be great for a family with children, and I really do like kids!

I really enjoy playing with toys and have lots of fun with other dogs.

I have been around some cats at the shelter and they interest me just a little too much, so it would be best if I didn’t live with any (sorry kitties!). And since I was an “owner surrender,” I am probably house-trained, but I may need a little “refresher” when I get in my new home since I’ve been in a kennel 24 hours a day since I got to the shelter.

Volunteers really love me and tell me what a beautiful and good girl I am.They take me for long walks in the park, we have playtime and then just chill out together for some one-on-one cuddles. They make me work too! I am learning lots of basic commands like sit, stay, give paw and lay down, and since I really love treats, I’m eager to learn even more.

I hope you decide to come and meet me; I promise you won’t be disappointed. Please bring the whole family to meet me, including any children and resident dog(s), if you have them at home already, so everyone can meet me at the same time to see if I am the right match to be a part of your family. I really want to be!
