District Attorney’s office most costly in list of Philly’s highest-paid employees

That please-don’t-leave-us raise we gave Charles Ramsey to stay in Philadelphia makes the police commissioner the city’s highest-paid employee.

Philadelphia magazine has a list of the 100 highest-paid city employees, and Ramsey’s $255,000 paycheck makes him the top earner.
Medical Examiner Sam Gulino, Mayor Michael Nutter, CEO of Aviation Mark Gale and Library President Siobhan Reardon round out the top five.

Way at the bottom — if you can call $124,800 the bottom — is Board of Ethics Executive Director Shane Creamer.

But it’s Seth Williams and his district attorney’s office employees whose salaries make up most of the list.
