Diocese of Wilmington announces layoffs, closing of newspaper

Following a bankruptcy filing and a $77 million abuse lawsuit settlement, the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington will lay off 22 employees. The layoffs also mean the closing of The Dialog, the CDOW’s newspaper.
Mark Fowser reports for WHYY about which departments will be affected and whether more layoffs await. The paper will be phased out by the fall.
