Developer proposes entertainment complex, monorail for Bader Field

A develop has some grand plans for Atlantic City’s Bader Field that involve a water park, casino, bingo hall, ballroom, performing arts space and more.

The cherry on top is a monorail that would connect the Chelsea Heights sight to the city’s casino and shopping district.

Atlantic City Council’s Planning and Development Committee will begin the proposal review next week, the Press of Atlantic City reports. Developer Win-Win OND has bid $426 million for the 142-acre site, pending a 20-year, 75 percent local tax rebate.

The plan would bring an estimated $33 million in annual revenue from its high-stakes bingo venue, and would employ 13,200 people full-time.
